The Remarkable Discovery of Nature's Secret Remedy
In the late 1940's, a celebrated Russian scientist by the name
of Dr. Israel Brekhman was sent on a research expedition to
the remote Primorye (pré -MORE-ya) region of Eastern Russia,
near the Sea of Japan. Dr. Brekhman had reason to believe
that certain rare plants found in this lush, isolated area
could significantly improve health, athletic performance,
and life expectancy.
Twelve rare and fascinating plant species were discovered
in the Primorye region. Later labeled "adaptogens," these
unique plants were proven to be remarkably effective in
enabling the body to resist and adapt to stress, protecting
and restoring vibrant health.
And so began one of the most extensive and far-reaching
research projects ever undertaken, entailing 45 years of
painstaking research by the Soviet Academy of Sciences.
With over 3,000 scientific studies involving 500,000 participants,
the Russians discovered that the use of these astonishing
herbs eliminated or significantly decreased the classic signs
of prolonged stress.
As research continued and scientific proof spread throughout
the world, skepticism over adaptogens quickly faded. It
became increasingly evident that nutritional support was
allowing Russian athletes to achieve better performance,
stamina, endurance, strength, recovery, resistance to
infection, muscle development, and adaptation to changes
in climate, time zones, and altitude.
The question then became: What would happen if adaptogens
were made available to athletes all over the world?
An adaptogen is a substance that helps the body to “adapt” to
stresses and demands placed upon it. The word “adaptogen” was
first coined in 1947, by Dr. N. V. Lazarev, a celebrated
Russian scientist, to define a small number of extraordinary
plants that helped increase the body’s resistance to
environmental stresses.
Used for centuries in Viking and Russian folk medicine and
by Chinese herbalists as long ago as 2097 B.C., these exceptional
plants have been treasured for their ability to restore,
re-energize, revitalize, and fight stress. Now modern science
has proven what folk medicine has known for centuries – that
the lush, fertile forests of Primorye hold powerful health
secrets that are now becoming prized throughout the world.
Adaptogens are extremely rare. In fact, it’s estimated that
only one in 4,000 plants has the unique characteristics of a
true adaptogen. To be categorized as an adaptogen, a plant
must meet three stringent conditions.
1. The plant must be completely safe and non-toxic to the
human body.
2. The action it exerts must help return unhealthy cells to a
healthy state.
3. It must assist the body in adapting to internal and external
stressors.
Russian Adaptogens for Improved Athletic Performance
Research has proven that adaptogens from the Primorye region
of Russia are unsurpassed in potency, and furthermore that
certain combinations of adaptogens are far more effective than
individual adaptogens alone.
O has worked with nutritionists and scientists from
around the world to formulate Primorye using an exclusive
proprietary blend of 7 powerful native adaptogens. Then they
combined this unique formula with other proven health-boosting
nutrients and antioxidants including Aloe Vera, Green Tea,
Pau d’Arco, trace minerals, and sea vegetables. Although
there are other so-called nutritional tonics on the market,
it’s important to be aware that not all contain actual adaptogens.
Primorye is unsurpassed in strength and effectiveness with
a formula found nowhere else on earth.
